Female Pelvic Health is a comprehensive, multidisciplinary service aimed at addressing issues of bowel and bladder incontinence, genital prolapse and sexuality.

About a quarter of all women suffer from embarrassing leakage of bowel or bladder.  Most women suffer silently and wait for years before seeking help thereby suffering social isolation, depression and even marital discordance.  One in five women suffers from genital prolapse resulting in bladder problems, bowel problems or sexual dysfunction.

The Pelvic Health Unit is at the forefront in research and treatment of these debilitating conditions and offers comprehensive, compassionate and minimally invasive therapies for their ailments.
